Our incredible staff has worked straight through the pandemic and have more than earned a paid break, so, after a crazy year, we’re taking a four day spring break and will be closed Sunday March 28, Monday March 29, Tuesday March 30, and Wednesday March 31. We’ll re-open Thursday April 1 and continue with our regular business hours of 10am-2:30pm & 4pm-10pm weekdays, and 4pm-11pm Friday & Saturday evenings, and 4pm-10pm Sunday evenings. Have a great spring break yourself and we’ll see you soon! Best Wishes!
Join us in supporting a fundraiser for the Ohio Restaurant Association Employee relief fund. Dayton’s Original Pizza Factory along with other Ohio pizzerias are donating $1 for every pepperoni pizza sold from Monday January 25, 2021 through Sunday January 31, 2021 to help Ohio restaurants and their workers who have been hurt by the pandemic. And Dayton’s Original Pizza Factory is taking it a step further by donating $1 for every pizza sold that pepperoni is on, including specialty pizzas such as our Deluxe and Ultimate Meat pizzas. We hope to hear from you this week, and we hope to write a big check to help out some people who need it. Best Wishes!

The Dayton Firefighters Union presented Dayton’s Original Pizza Factory and our staff with an incredibly nice appreciation award, accepted by our Manager of almost 30 years, Dan Azbill (pictured with his wife). We think his words say it best:
From PMQ Magazine:
Recently, we learned that pizza lovers have one more reason to feel good about embracing pizza night: it’s now been officially established and agreed that the pizza box is, in fact, recyclable.
The news, released in July by the American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA), corrects a common misconception: the belief that cheese and grease stuck to the boxes would negatively impact recyclability. A study by WestRock, an AF&PA and FBA member company, found that the typical amounts of these contaminants are acceptable, and paper mills that recycle boxes concurred.
“Corrugated pizza boxes are successfully recycled every day at paper mills throughout the country, yet consumers remain confused by mixed messages suggesting that some boxes should not be put in the recycle bin,” said AF&PA President and CEO Heidi Brock. “So, let’s be clear: pizza boxes are recyclable. Consumers should not be concerned about grease or cheese – simply remove any leftover pizza and place the box in the recycle bin. We encourage communities to update their residential recycling programs guidelines to explicitly accept pizza boxes that are free of food.”
There it is! Think globally, act locally. Give us a call and we’ll send you a delicious pizza in a box that, when you finish your tasty meal, you can proudly display in your recycle bin!
We will close one hour early at 10:00pm Friday July 3, 2020 and be closed Saturday July 4th in observance of Independence Day so our employees can enjoy the day with their families. We will re-open Sunday July 5 at 4pm and resume our regular business hours.
Dayton’s Original Pizza Factory wishes you and yours a wonderful 4th of July as we celebrate these United States of America and hopefully reflect on the things that unite us all (especially on our Country’s birthday!) Happy 4th!
